Inversion Tables - Choosing a Good Table For Your Back Pain

An inverted table (also called inversion table) is a device that is mainly used for reducing lower back pain and stress. To use one, you must put your feet higher than your head which leaves you strapped to the machine in an upside down position. Gravity's pull helps out in stretching out your vertebrae.
This device is based on the ancient therapy of inversion therapy which has been documented to treat back pains 4,000 years ago.
New tables may range from $200 to $1,000 dollars in price.
The manual-type comes much cheaper than the motorized-type. Manual inversion tables rely on the user's own weight to tilt the table. They provide for a more strenuous but effective workout. The motorized-type, meanwhile gives more comfort to the user by allowing them to stretch out their arms unlike in the manual version where they use it to control the machine. The machine operated through motors that can move the table and control the degree of inversion.
Buying tips
When buying an inversion table, choose one that is comfortable to you and is easy to use especially if it's your first time to use one. Look for one that has adequate padding and enough space to move around in a workout.
Check also the quality of the parts that comprises the machine. It must be sturdy enough to carry your weight to avoid serious accidents.
Only purchase tables who have a warranty seal in case problems or malfunctions occur.
Lastly, make sure the table comes to you with support materials such as manuals to teach you how to assemble the product or a video or DVD that provides step-by-step instructions on how to use the product.
